Tribal Brands partnered with the Jonas Brothers, Verizon, and LG to celebrate the importance of giving back through the creation of an exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime event: a charity kickball game with the Jonas Brothers. Fans could enter a contest for a chance to win an amazing weekend package that included a Jonas Brothers concert and the opportunity to play kickball against the Jonas Brothers.
RESULTS
- PR for the Kick for Change event resulted in nearly sixty million media impressions, with a media value of more than $680,000.
- The event was featured in multiple media outlets, including Jimmy Kimmel, Rolling Stone, People, Billboard, the Associated Press, Adweek, InTouch, Life & Style, Seventeen, the Hartford Courant, ABC affiliates, CBS affiliates, NBC affiliates, Fox affiliates, and many more.
STRATEGY
Individuals from various charitable organizations and the Jonas Brothers, along with the contest winners, competed in the LG-Verizon Kick for Change charity kickball game. Fans could purchase tickets to watch the game or they could enter the contest by submitting videos they created. Tribal Brands’ Green Screen technology enabled fans to create their own videos live at Jonas Brothers concerts, on their Verizon mobile phones, or on their computers. Videos that received the most fan votes won.
